Psycho - Sexual Problems & HOCD
As you have found this page - then I guess that something related around sex may be causing you or someone else a problem!
Did you know ...
Sex and money are the most common causes
of problems in a relationship!
Some sexual difficulties which do not appear to have any medical explanation are what are termed as Psycho-Sexual. You may have sought the advice of a medical doctor, and the results show all is working normally. Difficulties in this arena can be difficult to pin down, and can cause untold emotional misery and pain to all concerned.
"Sex is more than an act of pleasure, it's the ability to be able to feel so close to a person, so connected, so comfortable that it's almost breathtaking to the point you feel you can't take it. And at this moment you're a part of them".

Treatment for sexual problems.
Sexual problems are very common in both men and women, and are very distressing.
Guilt and fear are nearly always the emotions underlying psycho-sexual problems combined with stress and a lack of open and honest communication. Get rid of the guilt and fear, manage the stress and start to communicate more open, honestly and freely, and the symptoms disappear.
Once physical causes have been ruled out, Clinical Hypnotherapy combined with Psychotherapy is, in my view, the most effective way of getting rid of these problems. After so many years of working with these difficulties you can be sure that nothing will embarrass me, shock or disgust me!
I can guarantee that all sessions are conducted mindfully at all times, of this often perceived embarrassing and intimate of subjects. I always offer total discretion, complete confidentiality and privacy at all times.
You do not even have to give your name at reception when you come to see me.
I even offer a 30 minute, FREE private and confidential consultation, where we chat face-to-face with absolutely no obligation to continue with therapy what so ever.
I also offer an extremely popular and very successful Hypnotherapy Taster Session, for the nervous, curious or sceptical amongst you, that can easily be incorporated in the free consultation. The fee for this is only £20.00 for up to 1.5 hours. And same again, with absolutely no obligation to continue with therapy afterwards.
Who do I treat?
I am very comfortable in treating both males and females over the age of 16 years old who are in a hetrosexual or same sex relationship, or people who engage in group sex or fetishes who are encountering sexual problems.
Listed below are some of the kind of sexual problems,
that both men and women can experience. But other people can experience other sexual difficulties or problems not listed.
If that is the case, please do hesitate to ...

womens problems

According to The Sexual Advice Association, sexual problems affect
around 50% of women, and become more common as women get older.
Vaginisimus
A sexual problem affecting women where sex is painful or impossible due to intense involuntary muscular contraction.
Anorgasmia
The failure to reach orgasm / failure to climax.
Sometimes there is a combination of anorgasmia and vaginisimus.
Cystitis
Cystitis and repeated urine infections are extremely common in women and are often caused or exacerbated by sexual activity. Chronic cystitis is extremely painful and debilitating because it is usually accompanied by feelings of vulnerability and anxiety. Sometimes cystitis is not caused by an infection but is an inexplicable inflammation and this can make the sufferer feel like a fraud; but there is nothing imaginary about the pain as many women can testify.
Frigidity
Technically known as Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder. Loss of sex drive, lack of interest in sex or low libido can cause frustration and problems within a relationship. One partner (usually female but not always) avoids sexual intercourse, avoids sexual thoughts, has no desire for sex, has a fear of being intimate etc.

REMEMBER ... SEX FIRST STARTS IN THE MIND AS A THOUGHT!

but you can teach people to let it happen."

Homosexual Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Homosexual Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (HOCD) is not a common term,
but has gained momentum in recent years.
One side of HOCD refers to the uttermost dispair and untold feelings of guilt and anxiety, and those feelings of being ashamed about ones own sexuality.
HOCD sufferers are constantly worried that they might be gay or have gay tendancies, but are never able to resolve this internal issue.
This is different than anxiety commonly experienced by gays in dealing with society's acceptance or lack thereof, rather HOCD implies internal confusion and fear about an individual's own sexual orientation and what they are experiencing.
The other side of HOCD is the physical or sexual pleasure derived from what the sufferer considers to be a homosexual practice, thought or situation. This can include engaging in anal or oral sex, male orgasm, pooing and weeing and masturbation.
Typical symptoms of HOCD:
Recurrent doubts about one's own sexuality.
Unwanted or intrusive thoughts about being gay.
Inability to get rid of unwanted worries or intrusive thoughts about being gay.
Seeing a member of the same sex causes anxiety and triggers,
and unwanted thoughts about being gay.
Avoidance of members of the same sex for fear of unwanted thoughts or anxiety.
Thoughts or worries about giving off signals that one may be gay.
Repeating mundane actions for fear that these actions may have been performed in a gay way or a way that may signal being gay in the person (for example, a male may feel the need to get up from a chair and sit back down in it if he feels that the way he sat in the chair was "feminine," or a male may worry that the way he walks is too "feminine" or signals being gay).
Repeating an action may relieve anxiety, but then the person feels the need to repeat the action (or ritual) again and again to relieve anxiety.
Anxiety over being gay is in opposition to one's own values and desires.
One feels that the thoughts are unacceptable and inappropriate.
Gay thoughts are repugnant rather than arousing.
